Life in Fort Worth

Located along the Trinity River, Fort Worth is filled with fun for the family, incredible local cuisine, a top 5 zoo in the nation, and an extensive arts district, surrounding a lively downtown area.

Fort Worth has an established public school system, which now offers Pre-K,  as well as many private schools.

There’s so much to do here, so whether you’ve been in Fort Worth since you were born, or you’re on your way here as fast as you can, here are some of Emily’s current favorite places to eat and have fun!

Heim BBQ – created by Travis and Emma Heim, Heim BBQ is quickly becoming a Fort Worth favorite. Stop by for some of their famous bacon burnt ends!

Clearfork Food Truck Park – Located right on the Trinity River, the Clearfork Food Truck park hosts a rotating list of food truck vendors.

Bass Performance Hall – With the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and the yearly Broadway at the Bass tour schedule, Bass Hall is a beautiful Fort Worth landmark. Make sure to catch the Nutcracker in December!
